Twinned algorithmic
softsynth
One architecture. Two ways to play.
Bring the same hybrid synthesis engine into your DAW, build arrangements with multiple instances and continue shaping every detail as the track develops.
Presets move between hardware and software, with physical controls remaining part of the process. Develop ideas away from the keyboard, revisit sounds in the context of a mix and move freely between hands-on experimentation and DAW-based post-processing.
Same sound.
more ways to work
Move an idea into a full arrangement without losing the freedom to reshape it.

Mirrored presets
Move the same presets between hardware and software. Edit from either side and keep your library in sync as the track develops. MiniFreak 49 also remains compatible with original MiniFreak presets.

Synced to hardware
MiniFreak V comes mapped to the hardware controls for real-time sound shaping. Import samples and wavetables in software, then send them to the hardware through the same link.

Multiple instances
A bassline, a chord progression, a restless sequence: each can have its own MiniFreak V instance, sound and modulation. Shape them independently as the arrangement develops, without committing every idea to audio before it’s finished.

Expressive control
Use MiniFreak 49’s full-size keybed, mono aftertouch and physical controls to perform with MiniFreak V or other software instruments, bringing MiniFreak’s exceptional control to the rest of your setup.
